Vanessa Record began her legal career in Virginia and Rhode Island before settling in Maine in 2000 with her husband, a Maine native. Vanessa was a partner at a boutique trusts and estates firm in Portland, before taking time off to raise her three children. Vanessa returned to active practice in recent years and joined the Jennifer Frank Legal Group in 2026. She brings perspective and kindness to her practice where she focuses on estate planning and trust and estate administration. Vanessa is honored to hear the stories of her clients and to help build customized estate plans to meet their needs.
Vanessa has been an active volunteer in her community for many years, including serving on the Falmouth Memorial Library Board of Trustees and various committees supporting Falmouth schools and her community at large. Vanessa is a member of the Maine Bar Association, the Cumberland Bar Association, and the Maine Estate Planning Council.
Vanessa lives in Falmouth with her husband, their three children, and their golden doodle. She enjoys time with family, walking her dog, reading, and puttering in the garden.
